Unseren runden Geburtstag feiern wir mit einem grossen Fest in Landquart.
2022
Eric Gutmann wird neuer Eigentümer
Gründer Georg Conrad verkauft die Softwarefirma an den langjährigen Mitarbeiter und Geschäftsführer der Tochterunternehmen in Bern und Thun, Eric Gutmann.
Neue Organisation der Firmenstruktur
Die Mutterfirma tritt neu als «mcs impact group ag» auf. Ihr unterstehen die beiden Tochtergesellschaften mcs software ag in Bern und mcs engineering ag in Landquart, sowie die neu umgewandelte mcs digital solutions ag, die aus der Tochtergesellschaft in Thun hervorgeht. Die Geschäftsführung mit Eric Gutmann (mcs software ag) und Martin Metzger (mcs engineering ag) sowie alle Schlüsselmitarbeitenden bleiben erhalten.
2020
Am 31.03.2020 wird mit Christof Schulz der erste mcs Mitarbeiter pensioniert.

Übergabe der Geschäftsleitung von mcs software ag und mcs thun ag an Eric Gutmann.

mcs engineering ag zieht von Grüsch in die neuen Büroräumlichkeiten an der Bahnhofstrasse in Landquart.

20 Jahre Jubiläum mcs software engineering GmbH mit über 30 Mitarbeitenden.
2013
Best apprenticeship certificate in the Canton of Graubünden
The first apprentice trained by mcs successfully completed his training in 2013. We are proud that Remo Schneller received the top certificate of proficiency in the Canton of Graubünden. His IPA (Individual Examination Paper) was nominated as one of the best 10 papers in Switzerland and received an award at the National Career Development Conference in Bern.

Quality Management and Assurance Certified According to ISO-9001:2008
mcs has put a great deal of effort into introducing an organisational and quality management system that complies with the ISO-9001:2008 international standard. We achieved this goal on 27/09/2013, thereby creating a solid basis enabling us to continue offering our customers high, yet affordable quality and be a dependable partner for innovative software in the field of industrial computing.
Recipient of the Intec Award 2013 for Innovation
Our collaboration with grinding machine manufacturer Fritz Studer AG in Thun continues to bear fruit: With our “Studer Technology” software solution, the company also receives an award for the innovative product at the Intec 2013 trade show in Leipzig.

Recipient of the PRODEX Award for Innovation
We congratulate our customer Fritz Studer AG in Thun on the “PRODEX Award”! “Studer Technology” was the very first software solution to receive an innovation award at an international machine trade show. We developed this software in close collaboration with Fritz Studer AG. It radically simplifies the operation of grinding machines and reduces the overall processing time by up to 50%. We are proud of the achievement and look forward to the award ceremony as part of the PRODEX trade show in Basel.

mcs software engineering GmbH founded in Bern by Georg Conrad and Gerhard Marti. The name mcs comes from the initials of the founders and stands for Marti Conrad Software.
